Improvements

**Unified the voice across ledger screens.** Exclamation marks and coaxing phrasing are gone; the app now states things plainly. This follows the direction that a ledger is a place for records.

The last-recorded time now shows as **elapsed days** ("19 days ago") instead of a date plus an explanatory note. The elapsed count says the same thing more directly, and the warning color still marks states that need attention.

Shortened the notice shown when a daily amount cannot be calculated.

Merchant input hints are now noun phrases ("Where paid") instead of questions.
•
The stale-records state is now announced to screen readers. It was previously signalled by color alone, which never reached readers or users who cannot distinguish it.

Improvements

•
Amounts and figures now use a **monospaced typeface**, so digits line up vertically and columns of numbers are easier to compare.
•
The app is turning into a **ledger**. Backgrounds become paper, text becomes ink, and rounded corners give way to square ones. Icon backdrops and status markers lose their circles too, and shadows remain only on things that float above the page, like dialogs. Areas that used to be split into cards are now separated by ruled lines.
•
**Expense amounts no longer carry a color.** Red is reserved for things that genuinely need your attention. Expenses and income are told apart by their sign, and income keeps its green.

Chart colors are slightly deeper now, so they stay legible against the lighter background.

Improvements

When you clear a choice during first-time setup, we now ask before removing accounts you already filled in with a name or balance. Cancel and nothing is deleted. If only untouched accounts would go, we move on without asking.
•
First-time setup is now **three questions** instead of a form per account type. Tell us where your spendable money is, what you owe, and what you've set aside, and we prepare the accounts for you — you only fill in names and balances on the review screen. Going back to change an answer keeps the names and balances you already edited.
•
The "Skip" shortcut that let you finish setup with no accounts is gone. Even if you select nothing, a wallet is prepared for you, so you can never end up with a ledger you cannot record anything in.
•
If you finished the first-time setup without adding any account, the **Add an account** link on the dashboard's "money you can spend now" card now takes you back through the same three questions so you can add them. Accounts you already have are shown read-only and left untouched.
•
On the setup review screen, a card payment day outside 1–31 now tells you why it is rejected. It used to be dropped with no indication at all.
•
A negative balance is only allowed on an overdraft checking account. Entering one on a cash, prepaid, or loan account now tells you why — the same rule the settings screen uses.

Bug Fixes

If a starting balance can't be read as a number (spaces mixed in, more than one dot), we now tell you. It used to read only the leading part and silently save the wrong amount.
•
Fixed the completion screen wrongly saying "No accounts registered" when you came back to add accounts and finished without creating any. It now tells you your existing accounts stay as they are.
•
Fixed the account name reverting to its default when you cleared it and then pressed "Add another" or deleted a row before typing a new one.
•
Fixed a bug where an opening balance typed with thousands separators was saved as a truncated amount during setup.
•
The same bug also affected adding an account from Settings: an opening balance typed with thousands separators was saved truncated. It is now saved exactly as entered.

If saving your first-time setup was interrupted and some accounts never got a starting balance recorded, coming back now asks only for those accounts, one at a time. Accounts that already have one are not asked again.

Fixed a bug where pressing Finish again after a failed first-time setup could leave already-saved records unreadable. Once the setup has been saved, the encryption keys are no longer regenerated.
•
A foreign currency account created during setup now uses a foreign currency rather than your record currency. It used to be saved in KRW, which also truncated the decimals.

Fixed the ordering bug where an account added on a return visit landed in the middle of the list. It now goes to the end of its own type, the same as adding one from settings.

Fixed a bug where keyboard focus was lost after confirming a delete or unlink on the setup review screen.

A daily amount now appears under "Available to spend" — your remaining balance split evenly over the days left in the cycle. When you haven't recorded anything recently the figure would be inflated, so we show a note instead of a number.

The home screen now shows right away how much you can still spend this pay cycle — your free assets minus upcoming card payments and upcoming recurring expenses, with each deduction shown separately.
